Early walk out to Salthouse Point, c100 DB Brent with 9 Grey Plover, then a walk at Llanrhidian Marsh, Peregrine, Merlin and Golden Plover the highlights. #birdingWales

Local walk this morning at RSPB Cwm Clydach, no sightings of the Dipper but did have a flyby of my first butterfly for the year, a lovely Brimstone.

Very early trip to Worlds End with @welshnaturelady.bsky.social, for the Black Grouse lek, c12 Black Grouse, great listening to them in the dark, c10 Red Grouse. Surf Scoter at Old Colwyn. 2 Barn Owls on the way up, Goshawk on the way back, nice. Good to meet @dcbirder.bsky.social #birdingWales

While out in my #wildlifegarden planning for this year it was nice to see signs of spring and plants starting to grow in the #wildlifepond

Local walk today along Swansea Canal and Lower Clydach River. Not much in the way of birds, was hoping to spot a Dipper but no luck.

It is that time of year when people become worried about #Hedgehogs surviving winter. Hedgehogs are designed to live all year round in the UK not all Hedgehogs hibernate and even if they do it is not a continuous sleep therefore benefit from having access to food. Info by #GlamorganHedgehogRescue 🦔
