Fear is almost becoming a friend of mine at this point. I refuse to give into it and shut down, though I've been tempted a few times. All we can do is pray enough people stand up and say enough before we are all eradicated. There aren't enough of us for the trans population to save themselves.

Hi it's me, a woman who came in 9th at collegiate wiffleball behind 7 cis women and 1 trans woman. I just think it's tragic that I have to compete against anyone who didn't have a vulva as a baby. If you spend years scouring every potential fencing opponent to catch any sneaky trans competitors, developing a plan for what to do if you happen to find one in the wild, I think that says a WHOLE lot more about your mental state than it does anyone else's.

Took the kick scooter I got for commuting into the neighborhood to practice a bit (it is definitely physically engaging) and a 12 year old on a bike rode past shouting, "OK, grandma!" and followed up with, "Wow you got that on HIGH speed!" Know what? Yeah, I'll take that.

Honestly, I can't watch The Daily Show or SNL or John Oliver, etc. I used to, but the news isn't funny anymore. I can't laugh at it. I just cry. I get no joy in people mocking stupid when stupid is just going to stab me anyway. I'm glad for those people it helps, but.. I just can't watch them.

When you're at a fast food restaurant and service is slow, it is almost guaranteed to be because they are short staffed. Please try not to get mad at the workers who are desperately trying to fulfill all the order and showed up that day. They are trying to help. They are the good ones.
