Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism. We have to sustain each other. Making joy isn’t denial, it’s how we will survive

I would like to address Schumer’s alarmist line that the courts will “stop” unless Democrats CAVE IN to Trump’s budget. As I’ve written repeatedly THE COURTS WILL NOT STOP TRUMP, NOR HAVE THEY. They’ve told him to turn the money back on ALREADY… HE HASN’T!!

One of the problems with the lawsuits is gonna be that the “policy” is going to change, daily, hourly even. It already has, today. It’s hard to sustain a lawsuit against the premise of the thing when the facts of the thing change every minute.
