My birthday is in a few days and I’m already watching a Cubs spring training game on TV. I love having a February birthday for this reason alone.

Played Avowed all day. Having a great time with it. I have been trained to collect every crafting resource on the map by Assassin’s Creed games so I’m all set. I imagine it is quite punishing if you don’t keep your gear upgraded. It’s still a little broken but fun.

Avowed is fairly fun so far, although it could use a patch. It’s not very polished and sometimes the buttons don’t work in the menus. If it wasn’t free with Game Pass I’d be disappointed. As it is, I played for hours today. It’s not too hard.

I have been watching the Mission: Impossible movies, since they’re (mostly) all on Paramount Plus and I hadn’t seen a single one of them. I am halfway through and I have so little to say about them. They’re all fine! All pretty similar!

Based on the early reviews Avowed sounds pretty fun. I am hoping I will not bounce off of it like the last three or four action-oriented games I tried off Game Pass. I don’t want to admit I suck at these games.
