Seeing TITANIQUE starting Max Jenkins tomorrow night and couldn’t be more thrilled.

How can Ben Brantley write this an omit the ONE FILM VERSION of the musical and Bette Midler’s out of this world performance as Mama Rose? I can’t wait to see Audra in a few days, and also rewatch Bette’s over the holidays. www.nytimes.com/2024/12/02/t...

Lesley Manville is our greatest living actor.

Happy 79th Birthday to my number one forever Diva, Bette Midler. This singular, ferocious and weird legend has been blazing trails for us since 1967. The People’s Diva, long may she reign.

I love Lisbon.

What are four Christmas movies to know you by? Shirley, Michelle, Whitney & Julia.

“Small Things Like These” is the most remarkable film I’ve seen so far this year. A perfect movie for this moment: the personal as political, power, complicity and the legacy of trauma. Enda Walsh has written something truly singular. Murphy, Walsh, Watson and Devlin all deserve awards attention.

So far, so good over here! Feels MUCH nicer! If anyone makes or sees an Arts/Arts Advocacy Starter Packet of folks to follow, let me know. Hope you're having a great day.

I could not be more proud of our ANGELS IN AMERICA receiving 12 Helen Hayes Nominations making it the most nominated show of the season. Thank you to this amazing ensemble and everyone at the Arena Stage and mostly to the brilliant János Szász! MORE LIFE!

The CGI in Leave the World Behind is so fucking depressing.

still hilarious to me that Obama just wanted to work for Netflix after being president

Marin Ireland Oscar nomination for Eileen.

Logged in the remind you that The Whale is one of the worst films ever made. ❤️

I’m not on here enough but do need to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETTE MIDLER as she is my favorite artist. Trying to use BlueSky more and the most important thing for me to do is let you all know that I am a Miss M Fanatic.

When Evil Lurks is one of the best horror movies I’ve seen in a very long time.

“The Killer” is the most narratively slack, emotionally vacant pieces of straight boy cosplay I’ve ever seen.

A Streecar Named Desire, The Invisible Dog Arts Center Brooklyn NY 11/13/2023. Starring Lucy Owen, Brad Koed, Mallory Portnoy and Will Rogers. Directed by Me. 📸: Walls Trimble.

Fall of the House of Usher proves there is too much TV.

Movie night

The horror movie Slate this weekend is weak. Wish TALK TO ME was still playing. A truly great horror flick this year.

Actors: our president is fierce, our negotiating team is tenacious, our union is STRONG. It is so hard to keep the faith, but we must hold the line. Don’t listen to producer spin or studio owned papers. SOLIDARITY FOREVER.

Love is Blind is my only glimpse into heterosexuality and I am just really sorry for all of the people involved in this lifestyle.

I want this space to be fun old Tw*tter so bad! Please send me tips on how to make it great for myself.

Welcoming people to BlueSky

Just saw “Beaches” on the big screen for the first time at London’s BFI. What a stunning, funny, emotional, smart movie. The ultimate in chronicling romantic friendships and reminding you it is important to FIGHT with the ones you love. Lush and perfect and under appreciated because, men.
