Went for a trek on the Laurentian Escarpment to clear my head before Trump’s 4 pm circus spectacle. Fittingly, I kept coming across wonky signs. Maybe it’s an omen.

“…tastefully vacillating the conversation between bowel issues and Trumpian politics.” A partial sentence from my quirky, food-themed memoir, Broken Bread, published in 2020. (Based on living with celiac disease.) I’d say, discussing bowel issues and politics go very well together, indeed!

It’s beyond time to admit that the US is no longer a functioning democracy. It’s time for all US judges to stand together, unified, and demand that the Supreme Court take a stand. Their anointment of King Trump has to be either dissolved or formerly announced. Enough, is enough.

@raskin.house.gov For Trump’s Tuesday address, all democrats should wear a sash with the Ukrainian flag colours. Let the world know that there are still Americans that stand for Ukraine, and democracy.

My heart sank hearing Trump blame Ukraine for the Russian invasion. It’s obvious that this authoritarian-wannabe will allow Russia to take what it pleases, thus, allowing him to do the same with his expansionist dreams. As Canadians, we must prepare to fight like hell. Prepare, and pray for Ukraine.

@repjasmine.bsky.social I’m watching you on All In on MSNBC, and hope you’re able to carry through with setting up a daily briefing outlining the Trump-Musk atrocities. You are the perfect person to lead this initiative. I’m wishing you the best of luck.

My first post, so I’m not sure if this is the right place to share a little painting I did when Russia first invaded Ukraine. I’m terribly worried about the outcome.
