I can tell I've been playing Marvel Rivals again because I saw a coworker on the other half of the building. My first thought was, "Good, I've got plenty of room to move, and they're coming down a narrow corridor."

RFK Jr. Single handedly trying to bring back the "I Am Autism" campaign.

Autistic children do not ruin families. Full stop.

The maddening thing about 2025 is that the administration will do something that other administrations would deny they ever did if they got caught, but Trump will say something stupid like the Constitution lets him change any rules he wants.

This is why he won't back down and retrieve someone that his own administration admits was sent there in error even according to their own heinous logic. He doesn't want to undermine his ability to send citizens there for other crimes real or imagined. Once again, he's SAID this, out loud.

Trump hopes to deport and imprison U.S. citizens abroad. Critics say the concept is unconstitutional and dangerous.

If you're in the dark about why Asperger's isn't a separate thing any more, part of it is because it was originally designed by Nazis to designate which autistic people could be used productively for labor.

I've seen comparisons to the American revolution and King George and Trump and his tariffs, and in King George's defence, Trump would never consider freeing enslaved people as a way to undercut political dissidents.

Welp time to start sharing this again.

There is no point in taking anything Vance says about the Constitution seriously, because he's a devotee of Curtis Yarvin, the tech bro who believes that the smart elite, who just happen to all be billionaires, need to suspend democracy to "fix" America.

This article does a really good job of explaining why I reread Larry Hama's G.I. Joe in 2016, and why I reread it again this year. popheist.com/g-i-joe-is-p...

There are worse, more powerful people in the administration, but I have to admit, I don't know that it would be nearly as satisfying seeing any of them hanging on the wall in a slab of carbonite as it would be to see Vance that way.

The administration is efficient in one specific way: Every bad idea is a distraction, something they do actually want to do, and an sign of what they'll do in the future, all at one time. The tax exempt threat to Harvard is exactly this, but especially the last one, a sign of what's coming.

My head already hurts from trying to run a slideshow/example screen while a coworker did a presentation from a side room where I could barely hear her. Listening intently made my head hurt. And I walked straight into news stories that aren't making it any better.

The blog, it's not entirely dead! I wanted to share some thoughts on D&D Beyond, spellcasters, and new players learning how D&D Spellcasting works. #DnD5e #DnDBeyond

Yes, I'm obsessing a bit on this, as you'll see in today's blog post, but this is the terminology for spell acquisition on the D&D Beyond character sheet for different classes and rulesets . . . however . . . yesterday when I was looking at this, some of these were displaying this way. #5eDnD

Is anyone else having the D&D Beyond character sheets doing weird things occasionally when you click on parts of it? Like its suddenly not centered on the screen, and the background gets weird whitespace in it?

It's really hard being a Gen X'er that grew up loving G.I. Joe and Captain America, and reconciling that love with being able to enjoy things, today. Neither of those properties, as I consumed them, promoted what we're seeing today, but they live in a space of passively equating good with America.
