Just so it's clear, DeJoy wanted the Post Office to look competent so he could sell it off as part of the privatization plans, but Trump really just wanted to destroy it wholesale, so now DeJoy is on the outs because he was trying to do what Trump said he wanted, not what he actually wanted.

If you read this and think it would be about sending troops in, think of this instead: US Drones flying into Mexico to kill Cartel leaders, which will, the way drones always do, eventually hit the wrong people, and lead to "acceptable" civilian losses during the remote controlled assassinations.

Trump and Hegseth have an interesting strategy going on, where Trump is screwing over the rank-and-file military by destroying their benefits, and Hegseth is pissing off the generals by trying to put them in their place. If this were TV, it would be an interesting subplot to see resolved.
