True enough. Plus it's honestly a very pretty looking pistol and has a double stack magazine. The grip safety is a smidge annoying, but it's no major issue.

Now that there is a classic piece of Czech engineering. My own pistol is just a Equalizer, but I do have a trio of old bolt-actions, two of which got a fun story as to how they came into my possession.

Pretty reasonable points! I'm not as bothered by some of the darker tones the more recent Star Treks have taken, but I do very much understand where you're coming from when it comes to that sense of optimism feeling gone in the shows.

This is pretty much why I didn't like Lower Decks, that and well I just didn't find it particularly funny. Like it's one thing for characters in the series to be known figures in-universe, it's another when it's taken out of proportions. I will say though, I did enjoy the LD-SNW crossover episode.
