At an elementary school at Fort Campbell in Kentucky, home of the 101st Airborne, librarians are scrubbing the shelves. They are removing books that even contain references to slavery or the civil rights movement. This is where "anti DEI" sentiment has brought us. They are whitewashing history.

Weekend: Organized my desktop so I can write, drove and listened to loud music, ate a savory hand pie and drank tea at The Pie Bar, touched up Self Portrait with Accordion, watched a news video with Heather Richardson, and cooked cabbage with sausage. This country is dissolving. I’m tired.
