For the first time in absolutely freaking ages, probably at least 2 full iterations ago, my hilariously rickety-ass Mac (with chronic Touch Bar Flicker) has updated MacOS without a single solitary Kernel Panic. Might stick a lottery ticket on tomorrow, if that's how my luck is going...
