@whiskypad.bsky.social this port cask version appears to be a lot lighter than my last one. I don’t know the batch of the last one, I gave it away but this one is 2022.

My favourite bourbon is this William Larue Weller. The soft cherry, vanilla and caramel with the beautiful spices are exactly the things I like in a bourbon. After sweet I need peat so Ballechin and Lagavulin should meet the need! #whisky #bourbon

After 3 failed transactions and 4 years of pain and frustration we finally exchanged contracts on a house today so celebration time! This SMWS 33yo Macallan is sublime with a depth that the distillery 30 is missing. I've included their notes because they are so much better than mine. #whisky
