@pensioncraft.com - looks like there is somebody imitating you on Bluesky with the name pensioncraftcom. I've reported them.

I get that there would be administration costs associated with doing something that wasn't universal, but it is odd that the Scottish Government are offering £100 to all pensioners regardless of how wealthy they are (with the poorer ones getting 200 or 300). Just changed my broadband provider to save £3 a month. Somebody needs to come out to install it and I need to send old equipment back. I didn't really think of the carbon footprint of that, just the money saving.

Researched my personal carbon footprint last night and saw some something about buying carbon credits. Was astonished at how little it would be to offset my carbon footprint (£50ish) and wondered why we don't all just do it. Surely more to it. I haven't done it yet. Need to learn more.

Main thought of the week - if the issue with farmers' IHT is that the next generation can't afford the bill if they keep the farm land, can't there be a scheme like student loans where you only pay it back once your income starts to exceed a point where you can pay it back? Any opinions welcome.
