saw someone say the newest the cure album was the best since disintegration, so i put on some headphones to check it out. unfortunately it’s a middling retreading of earlier work - bloodflowers & disintegration leapt out immediately, & i could probably pick out more on a re-listen. disappointing!

i got my covid booster *and* flu shot yesterday, and requested a longer 1.5 inch needle since i’m over 200 pds - and obvs correlation ≠ causation but today i felt…fine? sore arm but otherwise good? still bewildered that i’ve never had a pharmacist use a bigger needle until i outright asked for one.
