Disgusting - this is just a game to them Investors have been trading and made 17% profit on the bailout YOU'RE paying for if you're a Thames Water "customer" We say NO - protest 11.30 today outside Royal Courts of Justice PERMANENT PUBLIC OWNERSHIP NOW www.ft.com/content/333c...

With the successful recovery of small mammal species on Hackney Marshes predators have returned, including Kestrels, so we’ve put a kestrel box on a large standing log pile. #renature

This is a start but 11m is nothing, water companies should not be run for profit, pumping sewage into rivers while shareholders profit is plain wrong. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

Privatised water has failed. Just look at your water bills or the sewage pouring into our rivers. Steve Reed - include public ownership as an option in your independent commission on the water sector. Sign the petition weownit.org.uk/act-now/stev...

Life is returning all along our Sussex shore .. from kelp to dolphins .. and all because the destructive trawl fishing was banned in our inshore waters less than 4 years ago!!! oceanographicmagazine.com/features/une...

The Government response so far us beyond disappointing.. Signed.

Times are challenging right now. There seems to be an attack on Nature everywhere we look. So here's some joy courtesy of @wildlifeian.bsky.social @renatureldn.bsky.social & Wildlife Gardeners of Haggerston 💚 via @hackneycitizen.bsky.social www.hackneycitizen.co.uk/2025/02/19/j...

Join us, to coppice and build small mammal habitat in Wick Woods or to build and maintain habitat on London Fields.

Millfields Park, Bee bank built and new pond in progress. Amphibian and small mammal habitat to be added tomorrow.

Lynx are recolonising much of their natural range in continental Europe, making ecosystems way more healthy, and stimulating for people to spend time in. Why should we be deprived of the same in Ireland + Britain, just because we live on islands? Lynx belong here, let's bring them back!!

This photo won’t win any awards, but it’s great to see a couple of Common Frogs in the pond garden on London Fields. Another species that’s here thanks to the biodiversity project.

Why aren't the female football players allowed to use the 17 pitches already constructed on the Green Belt on land formerly within the #LeeValleyPark behind Myddleton House? This is a land grab by the billionaires. enfielddispatch.co.uk/councillors-...

Get involved! You can join us for Coppicing & Woodland Management in Wick Woodland or on London Fields for site biodiversity development and upkeep. Sign up via links on renatureldn.uk

Many hands make light work. Always good to work with @hackneycouncil.bsky.social parks. Moving logs to build wildlife habitat.

The insanity of releasing 50 million non-native pheasants in the UK every year and the terrible impact on our ecosystems. It must end. www.birdguides.com/articles/com...
