I hate the form of academic speaking that deploys a mandatory interrogative (“riiight”) every few phrases. So the audience is compelled to nod or signal agreement…

A question about AI use in student essays. Why is it FINE (nay, ENCOURAGED) to use AI for essay prompts and outline… but it would be shocking to submit an essay and then announce, “Actually a guy called Dave prompted me and did the outline…”
