This photo popped up today from four years ago. My attempt at a collage based on a piece by Tristan Tzara for my lockdown art club. I asked my husband to say the words which came to mind when thinking about the previous months of lockdown.

Life with #t1d: I'm picking up needles at the pharmacy. Very jolly Lancastrian pharmacist - "are you exempt from prescription charges?" Me - "yes, I have type 1 diabetes". Pharmacist (still very jolly) - "ooooo, lovely!"
