Are you looking for a cozy Science Fiction adventure? @janetedwardssf.bsky.social is an excellent author and this seemingly low stakes novella is a great read in a fascinating setting. It's a prequel to the Hive Mind saga that gets more awesome & epic, while keeping good, warm characters at heart.

I knew I would love this book, I knew it would draw me in, I knew it would make me laugh and I knew it would make me think. Sure enough life hit a rough patch and I started reading this. SecUnit watches Media to help him cope with a overload induced shutdown. I read for the same reasons - it helps.

Even better than a season of Sanctuary Moon! An action-packed page-turning novel that managed to fit in a pretty good mystery, a dose of humour along with some rather serious philosophical pondering on free will and ethics, all without slowing the pace down. @marthawells.bsky.social #bookreview
