Having a flashback to 10 years ago and the very first kit I completed after returning to the hobby ~ Eduard's Spitfire IX converted to a MkI. I was quite proud of this back in the day. That faded a bit when it was pointed out that the windscreen was all wrong for an early model Spit... Ah well! 😅

This is the FE.2's little brother, the Airco DH.2. It was built as part of my book on 1/44 scratchbuilding and took about 8 months to complete. 😪 One day I hope to complete the RFC pusher family by doing the Vickers FB.5 and RAF FE.8 too! 🤞 #144scale #144スケモ

Yay! First post on Bluesky. I was looking for some nice bright pics to kick it off, so here are some shots of my scratchbuilt Curtiss Sparrowhawk in 1/144 scale. The fuselage was carved from beech wood, while the wings and tail are shaped out of acrylic and styrene. 👍
