Matrons of Mystery at Dice on the Borderlands. Niamh got cake for us during the mid session break. This is the new high watermark for player contribution to game experience excellence. Thanks to @bonhomiegames.bsky.social for awesome organisation and thanks to @chaosium.bsky.social for their support

Am I being characteristically dense, or does YouTube really not have a "do not show me search results from this channel" feature?

To those of you in the UK, if you have local elections today, don't forget to vote. Also, don't forget your photo id otherwise they'll send you away. If you're in the Runcorn area, there's a parliamentary by election which would benefit from a good turn out.

Had a fun time at the Dragonmeet event yesterday. My I-Spy Grogs book was sparse, but of outstanding quality @pookie-uk.bsky.social, Niamh and Robert Carnel (both of whom I should be following but can't find). My non-grog highlight of the day was playing Battletech Alpha Strike

28mm WW2 Project: I've finished building a train, which is reminiscent of the Sarissa Precision kits you can get. It fits quite nicely within the 28mm scale & at £3.29/€4.30, it's a bargain! If you're in the UK, you can get them at The Range. Now I just need to paint it! 😳

Why did I wait so long to start Charles Stross' Laundry Files series? It's got everything, Cthulu adjacent creatures, secret government agencies, bad wartime Germans, parallel dimensions, office based bureaucracy and best of all, lots of IT. Awesome.

Our NHS is not for sale. With Trump ramping up his trade wars trade talks must not open the door to US healthcare companies profiting from our NHS. Keir Starmer must protect our NHS by keeping it off the table during negotiations. Agree? Add your name: 38d.gs/april_bsky

www.bbc.com/news/article... I'm a peace loving man, but if you go after the BFI, there will be trouble.

I have never understood why restaurants served me food with the inedible leaves still in them. Given I eat like a starving dog in a room full of other dogs, it's an accident waiting to happen.

I just learned about Ctrl + Backspace. Why did nobody tell me about this before? All that time wasted. (It deletes the last word rather than doing it one character at a time like numpty me has been doing forever)
