This term I'm teaching Still Life Painting, where my students put together still lifes and paint them in acrylic. This assignment was Shapes and Drapes, involving painting a fabric backdrop with various objects of the same color. Here's a demo I painted! Acrylic on canvas, 16X20 inches.

"The Queen in Gold" - Ink and watercolor on cold-press paper, 7X10 inches. I miss exaggerating colors in watercolor over an ink drawing! Golden Eagles have subdued plumage with a pop of gold, so I pushed those golds up to 11. Original painting available here! www.falconmoon.com/originalart....
