I feel like my sassy self again. Thankful that I can still bounce back after invasive procedures under anesthesia. I made homemade palestinian hummus to put on my dream plantbased dagwood sandwich and had a great lunch. All errands completed before noon and I am home for the weekend. It's a win!

I did a lot of worrying, but the procedure was a success and remnants of the precancerous growth they found in July, has been cleared up and cleaned. No new growths seen. I don't have to go through this again for another 3 years. Woot!!

My mother is used to Asian efficiency and duty. So, when a service company says they will come to our home on a certain day at a certain time, she honestly believes we have made an appt and they will show up. When they don't show up, I am left explaining things to her 5 or 6 times. Ugh.

I am miserable. Liquid diet today for a procedure tomorrow and on cold days all I want is homemade soup. I guess it's just veggie broth today, and Popsicles. I am eating a vegan Dagwood sandwich (remember dagwood sandwiches?) tomorrow. A mile high.

One of the dogs I walked last week and signed up for overnights was put to sleep on Friday. Ruptured hemangiosarcinoma. I am in shock. That dog was so lively and sweet last Thursday! I'm still set to be with their cat, but man, that sucks how there will be no dog. :(
