It appears that at least one Brit is not a big fan of Trump's negotiating tactics: WARNING: NSFW. x.com/krassenstein...

I urge everyone to read Marc's open letter to Elon Musk, because he understands the true American experience in a way that Musk and Donald Trump will never understand.

Normally, I don't agree with David Brook's very much, but he is 100% right in this clip (60 seconds or so). Trump believes that the three strongest countries in the world are the United States, Russia, and China, and each is entitled to their individual spheres of influence youtu.be/WE8JGCNJYmA?...

Simply put, Trump is not compromised by Russia. He WANTS Russia to dominate over Ukraine and Europe because he sees Europe as an economic competitor that follows an international, rules-based order which Trump wants to abandon in favor of oligarchy and kleptocracy, i.e., the Russian model.

Trump has put Ukraine between a rock and a hard place: human and cultural genocide at the hand of the Russians, or economic genocide at the hand of the Americans. Note: agreeing to the second does not guarantee being able to avoid the first.

To me, it has become clear that Trump wants Russia to remain strong, so it can continue to pose as a military threat to Europe. This will force Europe to spend more on defense, and less on competing economically with the USA. A Russian defeat in Ukraine defeats that purpose, so Trump opposes it.

Sickening.

My current list of possible Democratic candidates for President in 2028 (in no particular order). 1. Jamie Raskin 2. Adam Schiff 3. Pete Buttegieg 4. JB Pritzker 5. AOC 6. Gavin Newsom Please feel free to add any not listed above.

I hesitate to post a link to this video for a couple of reasons, which will become clear if you watch it. However, it shows our new DNI repeating the same Russian disinformation as Trump has recently spouted, and provides further evidence that Trump wants an alliance with Putin x.com/KareemRifai/...

Is Trump building an International Authoritarian Alliance? Keep in mind that both Elon Musk and Peter Thiel (J.D. Vance's protege) have called for government to be run by elite technocrats, with little or no accountability to voters. nymag.com/intelligence...

1) This is how oligarchy works. 2) Isn't this the same party that eliminated Congressional earmarks years ago? More proof that Republicans are liars and hypocrites (I know--old news). slate.com/news-and-pol...

Exactly.

I agree. In order to effectively counter him, we must be able to separate the wheat from the chaff. Except, of course, the wheat is actually shit, and the chaff is shit, also.
