Working on the sprinkler system today...it strikes me how much trying to weave around a lawn full of active, rotating sprinklers without getting wet feels like being in a Super Mario Brothers game.

I watched The Marvel's last night, and was pretty happy with it. Absolutely silly popcorn fare, but that's honestly what I was hoping for. I could have done without the musical bit, and there's some moments of tonal whiplash, but I was never bored.

The normal point of failure for me and new social media platforms tends to be that not enough of my friends adopt the platform for me to not crawl back to established platforms. I think this is a common problem that hamstrings new platforms. I'm not sure what can be done about this issue.

I finally get to check this place out. At first, I wasn't super into the idea of a new social media platform whose hook seems to be that Twitter 2.0, but now that I'm here I'm feeling a bit of excitement for a fresh start on a new platform while I'm in such a transitional stage of my own life.
