1. Distrust of Americans is spiraling across the world. This damage is permanent. Do ordinary Americans understand this? No one is going to place trust in a people that elected a criminal who enriches himself, extorts those in difficulties, tells lies to smear the heroic and kills the weakest.

As hurtful as it sounds, the United States is siding with Russia by demanding Ukrainian resources and threatening with action for refusal to comply. We are being robbed by the world's two largest nuclear powers. Welcome back to the 21st-century Molotov-Ribbentrop reality

The correct context for this is authoritarianism versus democracy. People need to realize that and choose a side.

Blackmailing a country that was invaded and ravaged by three years of war is pure evil www.reuters.com/business/us-...

“The UK didn’t have a general election for 10 years because of WW2 - that doesn’t make Winston Churchill a dictator. Zelensky has not banned opposition parties - just the ones openly pro-Russian, just like we banned the fascist party when Hitler was bombing the shit out of us on the nightly basis.”

Trump’s agenda is openly hostile to the existing European order, columnist @stephenwalt.bsky.social writes.

Kaliningrad becomes Europe's top security concern when the Americans abandon us. We can not afford to allow a militarised and russian Kaliningrad to exist if we are to defend ourselves. The Poles should occupy it.

Elon’s busy schedule today is claiming astronauts were left in the ISS for political reasons, getting corrected by an ISS astronaut, throwing a fit where he calls the astronaut a slur, then complaining that we should deorbit the ISS

The Baltics were joined by new alliance members since the war. Ukraine also offered assurances never to join NATO if Russia wouldn't invade. We saw how that worked out. It's not about NATO, it's about conquest. NATO is only a roadblock toward that goal.

A dictatorship hosting another dictatorship to negotiate with an aspiring dictatorship about the future of a democracy that’s not represented.

Molotov-Ribbentrop 2.0

We are probably the first country to be asked to pay reparations for being invaded. It would be funny if it weren't so tragic.

Trump offering to Putin to pull U.S troops out of Lithuania is in some ways an even bigger betrayal. The Americans never recognised the Soviet annexations of Baltic states, championed their independence. And the Baltics have been loyal allies since. And now this orange dagger.

❗️Tonight russian kamikaze drone hit Chornobyl NPP. It was a direct hit, Ukrainian authorities report that the fire was localised and eliminated, radiation level is nominal.

“I’m here today to directly and unambiguously express that stark strategic realities prevent the United States from being the primary guarantor of security in Europe.” US Secretary of Defence, February 12, 2025. Everything changed today.

The German government going from "It will take us 2 years to rearm" to "it will take us 4 years to rearm" to "it will take us 5 years to rearm" to "it will take us 5 to 8 years to rearm" over the course of 3 years, is the most German government thing a German government can do.

Demand prison time for Musk, only Congress has the legal mandate to get rid or cut USAID. Cutting off the aid will cause thousands of deaths, especially among women and children around the world. That’s called mass murder.

⚡️Explosion at Rheinmetall plant in Spain leaves 6 injured. The explosion occurred at 4:20 p.m. local time on Jan. 30, starting a large fire that spread to about 2,000 square meters. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation, Spanish authorities said.

If Viktor Orban really blocks European sanctions at a key moment for the war, it’ll be absolutely clear that in this big game for the security and future of Europe, he is playing in Putin’s team, not in ours. With all the consequences of this fact.

If any Ukrainian had done a "Heil Hitler" salute at a meeting in Kyiv global media would have labelled him "nazi" in a second, and many would label all Ukraine nazi. But when Musk does it people discuss if it was actually such a salute. Sometimes the unbelievable should actually be believable.

One of the Ukrainian cities that no longer exists because a Russian set foot there. 📍Vovchansk, Kharkiv region

AfD leader Alice Weidel said during the party congress she would restore Russian Nord Stream: "We demand that Nord Stream be put back into operation. When we are at the helm, we will demolish all the wind turbines. Down with these shameful windmills"
