Given infinite time, I will exhibit infinite skill. Change that to something finite and it drops a bit. Building the Brane Engine Somehow both a Floridian redneck & nerdiest guy you know Game Dev @ Thrillseeker Media Group Big things are cooking #WeAreVR

I sold my AVP, buyer is picking it up tomorrow. I put it on to reset it and I’ve forgotten how much nicer it looks than the quest 3. I’m going to watch Tron Legacy on it one more time before wiping it.

I wonder how much of a skin-walker you’d look like with teeth implants

As a Vim user, am I obligated to buy a manual transmission car?

Oh look, das me

Check out all of the amazing Space Jam 2 worlds, now available on #VRChat! Winners Announced forum post: ask.vrchat.com/t/space-jam-... Wiki info: wiki.vrchat.com/wiki/Space_J...

Anyone want to buy an AVP? I need to buy a car.

Hot take time: Remote work is great if you dislike or need some space from coworkers. But if you really vibe with them, in person is so much better.

At every stage of anything that requires growth personal or otherwise there’s always “cash out” opportunities, where if you take them you’ll gain significantly more then your slow steady progress, but at the expense of much of any future growth, or even keeping what you have.

Thank you all for your support!

Working on a rather large VRCHAT project, I now understand all the gripes people have with udon. Especially the networking.

I hit some sort of threshold in running consistency, I've been feeling the urge to run all day, but I already ran today... and I still need to run. I NEED MENTAL ENERGY NOT PHYSICAL.

Why is so much of the VR industry Floridians and Australians? Is there something about proximity to large reptiles and spiders that induces technical and creative talent?

Me when the “force you to write good code” language forces me to write good code and it takes longer to write then I expected

LLVM has me romanticizing building fences rn. (Genuinely easier than coding ngl)

I HAVE IR CODE GEN

Most annoying part of implementing a scripting language is writing the system that finds identifiers based on your current scope. Not hard, but annoying.

There's been the trend of removing all inputs/outputs on phones, if we follow this to it's logical conclusion, at some point we'll have phones that look like a slab of smooth metal with no buttons or ports, and we'll interact with it through wireless peripherals.

It has dawned on me that I've started slipping more and more towards "coder who spends more time on their dev environment then actually coding" given that even my main project is technically a dev environment.

Huh, apparently I'm part of the digital hive mind. wirewhiz.com is getting "indexed" by LLMs.

Everything needs a refactor, I'm refactoring a system here and go "oh this other system I'm interacting with would be a lot better if it worked this way instead! Oh an there's another system that one interacts with, and another, oh the tree contains the entire engine..."

At MIT Reality Hack I figured out how angularVelocity works, and it's NOT how I thought it worked for 5+ years: wirewhiz.com/angular-velo...
