I jumped on the sourdough wagon. I’ve made 2 white loaves, and one Einkorn loaf. Then we made pizza bases with the discard. Tasty. 😋

I heard this phrase on the Canadian Drag Race show. I loved it and it stuck with me. There are several definitions for fierce and I think it fits in this situation. Oh right, and it’s bedazzled. 😁

One of my 4 corners to go in my Colour My World quilt. I just have 4 small houses and 4 tall towers to go then it all gets sewn together.

Canadian MP Charlie Angus: I am here today to urge Canadians to avoid travel to the United States if at all possible and to call on our government to stand up for our citizens who are being denied their rights through arbitrary detention in the United States.

I’m learning how to design my own Foundation Paper Piecing patterns. This is a sample piece to replace a tower in my Colour My World quilt.

NEW: The National Advisory Committee on Microbiological Criteria for Foods is (or was) an advisory committee housed within the USDA which provides outside expert advice to advance food safety across the US and across different levels of govt. It was ordered disbanded this afternoon.

Very scary behind the scenes look at what 47 may be thinking. Oh Canada!! When will TFG ever stop!! www.nytimes.com/2025/03/07/w...

I felt today I had to post a quilt I made a few years ago.

Ontario, please VOTE! Over 50% of Ontarians didn't vote in the last election -- imagine how many of those people were disenfranchised young folks who would have voted anything-but-conservative. Look at strategic voting sites if you need to! Just go!! To the polls!!!

Oh my god Ontario, it’s DOWN from last election, we can’t stay home #onpoli www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

And PLEASE VOTE. Last time, Ford got a majority based on votes from only 18% of the electorate.

No sewing today, but lots and lots of shovelling and snow blowing! The drifts in the backyard are above my knees. I lost my footing trying to check our intake valves and almost couldn’t get back up.

Today after all the shovelling of snow I’m going to work on more buildings for the second ring of this quilt, Colour My World.

Working on this quilt I started in 2011. Longarming is done, now on to the binding. Now I have to think of a name for the quilt. I think the original pattern was called Shredding.
