People don't understand what a monumental achievement the EU is. For thousands of years the continent that would tear itself apart every few decades, the EU stopped all that. We should have thanked them every day for being allowed in, instead we decided to fuck it all off.

Very sad news about the former referee Uriah Rennie passing away. He made history as the First black referee in the Premier league and a top class one at that. He officiated in over 300 games. RIP Uriah. 😔

Yesterday was Lou Macari’s 76th birthday. With the rumours of Becks getting a knighthood I hope that Lou also finally gets the recognition he deserves. For nearly a decade he’s been providing emergency accommodation for the homeless & continues to do so.

Early intervention is the best investment we can make. It pays back hugely by lowering costs in the future. That's on an economic model. Socially, it makes sense, too - get it right to children and they will be more likely to develop into happy and productive adults - whatever that looks like.
