ok so i am the developer of Dungeons of Blood and Dream, a 3D roguelike dungeon crawler available on Steam. its lo-fi and is inspired by Kings Field and Ultima Underworld, but is a lot more fast paced. it's got many interesting mechanics such as finger sacrifice, falconry, sigil based magic, etc.

Just finished Max D. Stanton’s “The Dying Chorus” in the latest CHM. An awesome work of horror and a very cool homage to Chambers. I love this sort of metatextual narrative, and the blending of art collective and cult was a stroke of genius.

Reading Marie Vibbert’s The Handmaiden-Alchemist in the last issue of Analog and I’m enjoying it very much. I’m a sucker for historical fiction that really dives into the concepts and beliefs of the Middle Ages. I am pleasantly reminded of Eco’s The Name of the Rose.
