I throw nothing out. Cool concert tix note the prices

Thinking with all the chaos in the U.S. today you should take a deep breath and make sauce.

Yikes.

Liking these folks.

Super interesting book for those interested in NYC downtown scene in the mid 1970s. What a time!

Vintage Violence and Paris 1919–two of the greatest Lps of all time. Anyone out there agree???

Way to go boys

Charles Person, who was the youngest of the Freedom Riders in 1961, has passed away at age 82. With his passing, Hank Thomas is the last remaining of the original Freedom Riders. www.washingtonpost.com/obituaries/2...

Less street traffic south of 60th street in NYC is my impression.

Finally in some bookstores.

The 20th Century: The Electric Life Albert Robida's Vision of a Paris of the future as foreseen in 1883. (from Le Vingtieme Siecle, 1883)

Online Degrees Out of Reach Fewer than half of students at the largest nonprofit online institutions earn a degree after eight years. Is it an unfortunate reality or a cry for accountability? #HigherEd #EDUSky #AcademicSky bit.ly/4260aMV

These are basically scams.

Todays haul. Snowy day. Good for writers #beatpoetry #surrealism #brokendreams

Thinking there is some kind of work around/hack for the nyc congestion thing.

Wrote 6 poems in 4 days and edited some from the mid 1970s. After Broken Dreams I want to do a chapbook with 25 old ones and 25 new ones. Could use a literary agent so I don’t need to self publish.

Back from NYC. Distributed Broken Dreams to some bookstores and got these when I came back to Connecticut. Saw the Dylan movie which was great! And some time at the Met.

The best thing about publishing a book is that it makes you want to write more #brokendreams #dada #beat #surrealism

NYC 7 am. Can’t beat it.

The worst part of 2024 is that I had to put my dog Betsy down. But what a life she led!

Jimmy Carter makes me want to be a better person. But how?

A great man. History will judge him more kindly than present day idiots. A hedge fund guy just called him an “ineffective” president. What the hell has he done except line his pockets and buy shit he doesn’t need?

RIP Jimmy Carter, one of my favorite presidents. I always judge presidents but what they do after their presidency. Carter was one of the good ones. I thought his “malaise “ speech was terrific!

I have no clue whether my poetry book Broken Dreams is selling. No way to get sales figures for a few months so just raise your hand(s)

How come I never heard of John Marin? Good stuff.

Broken Dreams apparently leaving a review on Amazon helps to sell a book or two. All proceeds donated to #teensofcolorabroad #beat. #surrealism #intled.

Not at all unusual for campus protests to wane from spring/summer to fall. Has little to do with the issue—more to do with new crop if students and returners moving on to other issues.

In the field of #intled folks keep describing their peers as “rock stars”. No they are not. Keith Richards is a rock star. And today is his birthday. The young rocker turns 81 today.

Pho rocks.

Clearly no one knows tge answer to this. Hang on people—all will be revealed
