Really positive feedback meeting about my online teaching this morning. I feel like I’ve had more positive feedback in the 6 months since I left the classroom than I was used to. Parents evening for the youngest tonight. Feel sorry for the teachers doing this in the first week back after Christmas, will be a short meeting anyway because he’s a great kid. I always preferred doing these the week before a break when I was a class teacher rather than straight after.

Been on Twitter this morning and it’s obsessed with this anti Starmer petition. “He lied, he’s a liar.” What are they on about? He said those with the broadest shoulders need to carry the load and he’s increased taxes on the wealthy. People get radicalised so quickly now. The poor protect the rich.🤷‍♂️

Finally had good news about a job yesterday. Will be tutoring 1:1 with a young person in a care home for 2 hours every morning from next week. Really looking forward to hopefully making a difference and getting paid for my mornings again!👍🏼

Does anyone else get really stressed out at the ‘adding milk stage’ of the tea making process? It’s so risky, literally make or break, too much and you’ve wasted 5 minutes of your life and a perfectly good tea bag. Then you have to drink it wishing you’d gone easier on the milk.🤷‍♂️
