Had a wonderful relaxing day with my family out at a local walking trail exploring nature in a slight drizzle. I had a blast inspecting all the plants and critters with my daughter with nothing but time to burn. It was the reset I needed to churn out some pages this week.

#longlegs was a genuinely fun experience to watch. It had some areas of weakness but the originality of the story and how off kilter it kept you shades over these minor issues. Who ever was in charge of the quantitative use of fake blood needs a raise. Personally I don’t know if it gets a rewatch.

How did I go all this time without starting #TwinPeaks ? I’m getting to watch it for the 1st time living in WA I feel like I get a 4D ambiance. I’m in love with the pacing. The slow burn gives you time to appreciate the wonderful presence that each of these unique characters bring to the story.

This morning, I had the most southern hospitality moment happen thousands of miles away from the geographic south. As I was scraping my ice from the windshield with an old credit card and my nextdoor neighbor surprises me by walking over with a brand new ice scraper/brush to help me in my endeavors.

I tried the writing off site trick today. I chose to go to McManamins Spar Cafe in Olympia because of a few recommendations on Reddit and it did not disappoint. I got a solid hour of writing comprised of three 20 minute sprints in after I finished my fish tacos fries and and amber lager.

I Went to a Wild & Exotic Reptiles Show to celebrate my birthday early & saw this handsome fella. He had an awesome personality. He even Perked up as soon as I started complimenting him. Moving around clearly showing off his magnificent scales and returning to make sure I'd seen. I’m in love.
