I had my active DOE research grant abruptly cancelled yesterday afternoon. Funny thing is I was non-competitive sole-sourced on it. DOE came to me for the work but still saw fit to cancel the contract. The COs are terrified of losing their jobs and are trying to appease Musk. #WTF

Stumbled on a first American edition, first printing, 2nd state copy of The Hobbit. This book, printed in 1938 was sold in an original library binding to a tiny NV town. Can't wait to read the original "Riddle in the Dark". #tolkien #books #rarebooks #bookcollectors #hobbit
