The American government is no longer a trustworthy partner for Canada. We renegotiated NAFTA in Trumps first term, and he promptly broke our trading partnership within weeks of his second. We need to seriously invest in our own defense capabilities and find other markets for our products.

Canada needs to sign a rare earth deal with Ukraine. Any deal at all, just to piss off King Trump. That being said, Canada and Ukraine probably have a lot to offer each other and so some trade deal would be good. We need more markets across the Atlantic, and Ukraine would be a great partner.

My thoughts on the disastrous meeting between Zelensky and Trump. Trump is beginning to realize that his peace plan is failing, and he tried to bully Zelensky into submission. It didn't work.
