one thing about the single digit temps we’ve been having lately is how it impacts my toes. having had a couple minor bouts of frostbite as a silly kid playing around all day in the snow wearing sneakers, one’s extremities become extremely sensitive to the cold.

back on the road today after taking a day off to, you know, deal…started off with temps hovering around 0F and managed to inch up into the lower teens by this afternoon. went ahead and took the recycling out this evening upon my arrival back home since it’ll be chilly AF again tomorrow,

today was snowy and cold and i didn’t do a damn thing other than shovel the walk and buzz my noggin. i coulda-shoulda worked on my taxes, but…that woulda been the responsible thing to do

tuesday i woke to about a half-inch of snow. a few hours in, picked up a young man who works at the airport and lives just north of there. was getting close to his home when this Ford Focus comes sliding down a hill, running a red light and right into the road ahead of me!
