DoD probationary employees will be fired soon. Seeing multiple rumors all popping up within the past hour saying similar things. The last time I saw this happen was Thursday night before the first major purge. Holding on for dear life, Godspeed fellow Depart of Defense feds.

Bracing for Tuesday. Rumor mill (which has often been right during this situation, weirdly enough) says Tues-Wed will be another blood bath for probationary employees. If I'm getting the boot it's probably going to be then. It's funny, the stuff I shipped for the move here is only just arriving now.

I would appreciate any amount of support. I'm next on the chopping block and they'll be expecting me to pay back the 19,000$ advance of pay in lump sum that was meant to help me relocate and be paid back slowly.

Hi, I'm a probationary federal employee. I moved to 🇩🇪 for this job after I was unemployed actively looking for a year. I was given an adv of pay of 19k to help me out interest free paid back each paycheck for a year. Contract stated that if I got fired I would pay that back in lump sum. I'm hosed.
