No because, and this might surprise you, the world was somehow more fucked up before television was invented. I do not attribute this to TV one way or the other, but it definitely isn't the cause of bad rulers.

People believe in anything presenting itself as science that would need to be true to justify what they already socially believe. The reason this shit never dies is because people grow up thinking that they're just better than most people for various reasons and then find something to support that.

Remember when it was insisted that it would be wrong to use the DOJ to pressure Republicans by prosecuting their obvious public crimes and that we should be careful what we wish for because Republicans will do the same when they get in power? Yeah, turns out they do not feel the need to wait.

I actually do think it's important to humanize the Nazis, not in order to generate sympathy but so people understand that if they're gonna fight fascism they are gonna have to fight people. Regular people who think they're good and love their parents and everything.

This is what RFK and his ilk want you to believe. That people who aren't neurotypical are a threat. That is the justification for their abuse. Every professional analysis makes it clear they are far more likely to be the victim of violence than the cause. This is fascist propaganda.

To summarize: Trump's actions, while broadly unpopular, energize his radical base. This strategy has undeniably been effective even though he has the charisma of a bully's flunky from an 80s movie. If there were a party whose "radicals" wanted cool shit like M4A, they could really clean up.
