thought: in the Americas we call them comics , but no one here calls European stuff "Bande Dessinee", yet we continue refer to Japanese styled sequential art as "Manga" they are all ultimately, the same thing, with regional variations. some folk still think Graphic novels are different too. weird.

I’ve gotten five movies made and executive produced over a 100 hours of television and although I love comics I rarely make them because comparatively *they are too fucking hard*. Both in craft and business execution. All comic creators, writers, artists, letterers, colorists, are frikkin’ heroes.
