Been away from Blusky and been busy. Another semester of lectures over, just 5,000 or so words to commit to …well Word… before Mid May. Then off to have a weird growth I’ve had since birth removed :-)

Good morning sweet people in my phone. Cold but beautiful walking to Uni this morning. (Yes my floor is a mess!)

Look up your name in GIFs …I will!!

This may be important for lawyers representing trans people in court. Australian judgements can be used in the courts of England and Wales. Murdoch used an Australian judgement when he was battling HMRC in a London court and won the case on that basis.

I’m unapologetically a woman, of the world, and getting weary! Chaos used to be more fun though!

THEY want to turn your work into “content” because to them it IS content. They only care about eyeballs on screen. They don’t care about the art. But you should. Respect yourself. Words have meaning and power. Calling your art “content” subtly changes how you and everyone sees and values it.

I don't think I can find the spoons to do this in time for the deadline. Please, if you have the time and the energy, consider responding to the consultation. (The law isn't changing but the guidance protecting existing trans rights is being significantly watered down, at the worst possible time).

We’ve written to the Oxford Literary Festival to question why Helen Joyce is listed under their LGBTQ+ category. Her widely criticised views on trans inclusion make this association both insulting and tone-deaf to the LGBTQ+ community. We’ve asked for this to be corrected.

bindel/joyce at the oxford literary festival is an example of what cis ppl mean when they say ‘trans debate’. they don’t mean debate with us. they mean they wanna have a chat amongst themselves about how best to eradicate us and it’s impolite and overly sensitive of us to call them bigots for it.

Now I’ve swung through empathy to anger, sorrow to bloodlust & still can’t decide where I am. It’s astonishing to think the USA, which used to fight Fascism in WWII, has actually fallen to it. So this Christmas I’m thinking of the US LGBTQ community & refugees who will suffer most, & all those…

A volcano covered Pompeii, what happened to the first Pompe?

Watching Planet of the Ood … think this is one of the best episodes and showcases Donna as the perfect companion. Her range of emotions is brilliant.

While the UK government considers upending the law to allow AI companies to train on people’s creative work without a license, our statement opposing unlicensed training just hit 38,000 signatures. Still open ➡️ aitrainingstatement.org

With such strong feminist bones like these, it's truly a shock that he's come out as a wanker. /s

Sorry to say we're closed today (Tuesday) 😔 Someone has bricked our window, robbed the cash drawer and, bizarrely, the Bluetooth speaker 🎶 All the books are safe! Turns out robbers dont read. If you wanna help out this struggling queer bookshop our website is still open Merry bloody Christmas 😥

She referenced an incredibly important analysis that shows the rate of post natal deaths increasing for both parent and child, and despite using that as an opportunity for transphobia she claims we are the distraction? And we're meant to believe she's the feminist?
