“Eerie Haunted Glow” is another 4x6” #alcoholink #painting on an aluminum art panel. The #hauntedhouse next to the #spookytree in front of a magnificent #aurora would make any #halloweenlover ecstatic! This will be brought to World Oddities Expo April 5-6 in Philly, come see me there! 🎨

“Otherworldly Aurora” is another alcohol ink painting on a 4x6” aluminum art panel. The glow from the aluminum is incredible-the art actually changes with the light! This #aurora painting with included frame will be available to you #auroralovers the end of March, let me know if you’re interested!

Meet “Sheryl” the crow (get it?), she’s painted with alcohol inks on a 4x6” aluminum art panel. Are you a crow lover? Do you collect crow art? If she speaks to you (Caw! Caw!) let me know. This is a MUST SEE IN PERSON, the glow from the aluminum is gorgeous! 🐦‍⬛🖤

Hey artists- do you just paint pretty pictures or do you create thought provoking art? I’m trying to create art with meaning behind it, but struggling… should I just go back to painting pretty pictures? #artist #thoughtprovoking #meaningfulart #prettypictures #blueskyartist

If you’re a new artist or not please read: if a gallery approaches you & says they love your art & they are inviting you to exhibit but then find out there is a fee involved to exhibit – like $500 or $1000 – run. You should not have to “pay to play“, find a gallery that takes a % of your art sales.

This #groovy #skullopus titled “Glowsmary” has a hidden talent- she #glows under #UVlight!! I #painted this on a small 5” tall #coffinshaped panel with #fluorescent #acrylics while my #artist #friend Teresa was visiting me! #skull #octopus #neonart #neon #psychedelicart #psychedelic #trippy

“Childless Cat Lady” is a new alcohol ink painting. It depicts a sweet sleeping black cat curled up in a pelvic bone. It’s to suggest that just because a woman isn’t a mom to a human child but to a furbaby, it doesn’t make her any less of a woman. Prints at: www.veraworthington.com/product-cate...

This tiny 2.5”x3.5” acrylic painting has a fun secret! Watch the video to find out what it is! I usually paint with alcohol inks, but it was fun to create this mini painting with acrylics! What do you think? Should I paint more like this? #glowinthedark #uvreactive #neonpaints #fluorescentpaints

Where are all the #alcoholinkartists at? Let’s follow each other and share our #art!! 💜🎨

Did you know that I #paint original #tinyart on #tiny oval #pendants? These were #handpainted with #alcoholinks, YES, I really painted them THAT SMALL!! More to come soon, which is your favorite?

I absolutely LOVE to #paint #tinyart! All of these were #handpainted with #alcoholinks and none were bigger than 3x4”. Do you have a favorite?

Meet “Salem” the black cat, he’s my latest painting in which I used ACRYLICS!! The original is 8x10”, painted on a cradled wood panel, and prints will also be available soon (without watermark). What medium should I paint with next? What subject would you like to see?

I’ve just learned it’s #portfolioday! Here are a few of my best selling digital paintings that I created with Procreate, do you have a favorite? All of this digital art is available as canvas prints on my website, www.VeraWorthington.com

This is a small 4x6” Brusho and watercolor painting based on my friend Jane’s creepy doll that she created. If you don’t know what Brusho is, it’s watercolor crystals that can produce unpredictable yet beautiful results. I used it for the hair and dress. “Clarice” is still available
