I found this article a good analysis of not only the cartel chip (lack of) implementation, but also I think of Blizzard mgmt's philosophy of the pacing of a number of systems. The Mourning Lynx is the only new pet look for Patch 11.1.5 that I'm currently aware of. It sports the upcoming 'Radiant Imperial Lynx' mount armour, but can come in 3 fur colours: pale, dark, and brown. There's only one in Hallowfall and it seems to have a 30-min respawn timer.

Escaped Lynxes are supposed to spawn at these points: www.wowhead.com/npc=229620/e... If anyone could double check the 11.1.5 PTR and confirm my findings they're removed that'd be appreciated! If you wanted a brown or black lynx: tame it immediately, just to be safe.
