Prolific Poster

Anybody on Bluesky get into Old Time Radio? #oldtimeradio #otr

A Mardi Gras poster I did awhile ago.

An old commission - a mom on a motorcycle.

A few beer labels, back when I did that sort of thing.

An excerpt of a painting I did of Galaga. I don't know why I don't have a bigger pic.

Art for an album cover that didn't happen. Nosferatu vs. Dracula, 24" X 36", acrylic.

So this group of guys get together to play poker on the regular, and on one occasion, a drunken argument breaks out - who would win in a fight, 10 boxers or a bear? One of these gentlemen paid me to illustrate the quandary.

I feel bad for robots when they're forced to dance for us.

Ancient Technology of the Twilight Years, 24" X 24", acrylic on canvas. A painting of a Dogu.

Durga, 18" X 48", acrylic on Masonite. I did a series of paintings of goddesses - I picked my models and asked them what goddess they wanted to be, then painted them as their goddess. Fun project.

A T-shirt design for Weed Demon.

Michael, Patron Saint of Artists, 24" X 36", acrylic on canvas. Hid all sorts of stuff in this one.

My mom was a huge big eye art fan, and Lee was one of her favorite artists. A few years ago I started painting musicians as Lee-style big eye characters.

I just won some wireless headphones at Drag Bingo. Not bad!

An old flier.

Me with a painting of Baphomet I did. I wish I had a better pic of it...

I curated a cartoon-themed art show once, and I got 4 artists to work on a 7-foot tall Voltron with me. We each picked a lion and went to town. I did the black lion and made him look like King Diamond.

The Flatwoods Monster, 18" X 24", acrylic on canvas. Here's the link to the wee documentary I did for Braxxie... youtu.be/t0yCeIh7mF4?... #cryptid #cryptozoology

Here's a small documentary I did on the Green Claw Monster and the Loveland Frog Monster. #cryptids #cryptozoology

I love cryptozoology, and occasionally paint cryptids. This is the Green Claw Monster of the Ohio River, 24" X 24", acrylic on canvas. I did a wee documentary on it, I'll have to post that as well...

When I was much younger, I used to do art for Paranoia Magazine and this was for the cover, a story about the kabbalah craze.

Cat furniture. That's all I am.

An old comic I did called The Art of Monkeyfarting.

Saw King Buffalo at a tiny venue in Toledo. Great show!

This gig poster was included in 3 or 4 books about gig art. Probably my best known piece gig-posterwise.

Sylph 🧚 an air spirit Another drawing I’m really proud of! Capturing emotion accurately can be really hard for me as I normally get too distracted by getting all the little details correct, but she looks so peaceful and content 🥲 #illustration #drawing #art #fantasyart #fairytale

A couple of Astralnaut covers.

Frost Harpy for all you winter witches and warlocks out there. She holds the key to your frozen heart.

A memorial pet portrait for Otis, 18" X 24", acrylic on birchboard

Anomaly III, 2023 Oil on linen #pecaart #oilpainting #contemporaryart #surreal

New respect for Robbie Rist. Loved “Big John, Little John!” It was “Big” before “Big” was big.

A saucer man from Invasion of the Saucer Men. I always loved that stupid movie, and the creature design was awesome.

A portrait of my wife, 18" X 24", acrylic on birchboard. I was working on a mural in a studio with no A/C in August, I had a stomach bug and I'd had heatstroke. I really was missing my wife and being a little bit of a baby about it because I didn't feel good, so i knocked this out in 4 hours.

A memorial portrait I did awhile ago, 24" X 24", acrylic on canvas.

Winners and Losers, 16" X 20", acrylic on canvas. Made to flip however things were going...

This one's extremely old - my tribute to the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Cesare, 18" X 24", acrylic on canvas.

Queequeg's Dilemma, 24" X 36", acrylic - I was invited to enter work in a Moby Dick themed art show, so I started doing a little research. I noticed Queequeg, a man of royal Polynesian descent, was generally shown as white in film and illustration.

This was a fun commission! This was for a boy who loved Tigers. He slept alone in a bunk bed and wanted a painting of a tiger affixed under the top bunk. That way he could wake up to a tiger every morning. He liked visual puzzles, so I hid his name in the tiger's forehead.

Some wrestling mask paintings.

A bunch of old fliers.

I don't remember the size of this one, but, as requested, it was painted with acrylic on primed sheet metal. It felt great! It had the smooth feeling of oils, but dried quickly.
