We need to pay close attention to our Democracy. Talk to neighbors, defend the oppressed, write congress. Remember, the Wizard was never real and does not have the power, nor the inclination to grant your wishes. But the man behind the curtain, to get what he wants, needs you to believe he does.

Throughout history the “powers that be” have found success in turning groups against one another to obscure the fact they are robbing the coffers. In 1980 the top tax rate in the U.S. was 70%. Ronald Reagan managed to cut that rate in half. Middle income households fell from 62% to 43% since 1970.
