Just added a Timby B to my second merc company's mech bay. Doing a little experiment, giving it more oomph by swapping out the Clan gauss with a Silver Bullet gauss, and giving it an ATM 12 launcher in place of the puny SRM rack.

Dunno why, but after reading the TRO stats for the J. Edgar, I'm left with the opinion that it was the Bradley Fighting Vehicle of the Succession Wars and beyond. Poorly armored, underarmed for the task it was designed for... Yeah. Star League boondoggle.

Just finished watching Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2202 tonight. Both 2199 and 2202 are masterful retellings of the Gamilas/Earth war & journey to Iscandar, and the war against the Comet Empire of Gatlantis. I highly recommend both series if you can't find the original series.

While brainstorming a camo pattern for the Kaiju Korps Urbie, I found a pot of "Hedorah Smog" that I mixed awhile back and forgot about. Did a quick (and very thin) base coat to get this Ostscout started. "Rodan Red" and "Hedorah Smog" are interchangeable as primary colors for my regiment.

Kaiju Korps Urbanmech painting begins with a very thin base coat of "Rodan Red", one of my own special matte enamel color blends. Next up, this will get a thin wash of flat red acrylic to bring out shadows. As the Kaiju Korps color palette is proprietary, we can't share the recipes for each one.

Hard to believe that this is the 3rd anniversary of the 2021 Quad-State Supercell, the Mayfield Monster, and the EF-3 and EF-2 satellite funnel that tore Bowling Green in half. To me, it's still like it happened yesterday. Remember the ones who didn't make it on that night.

Remembering the legacy of Ken Satsuma today, after learning of his passing. Very few can just step into a kaiju suit and become the entire soul of the monster. Satsuma WAS Heisei Gojira from '84 until '95. He passed away today, on the anniversary of G v Biollante's release. Rest in Peace, sir.
