Why is it up to @rollingstone.com to write the most honest and direct headlines? www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

Trump's first 100 days: -Start a costly trade war. -Fire thousands of food safety, medical, and weather experts. -Let the world's richest man effectively cut Social Security. -Bill taxpayers $26M for golf trips. -Shred the Constitution. So much winning. youtu.be/yxtrhzW1ZTs?...

Why is Donald Trump constantly issuing executive orders that power grabs of authority?

Two former Wells Fargo executives were fined $8.5M by the Biden administration for covering up the bank's infamous fake account scandal. Trump just slashed those fines to a paltry $150,000 after Wells Fargo gave $1M to his inauguration. See how this works?

Someone skipped Marbury v. Madison day in school.

Please highlight this story. ICE stormed into the wrong house, trashed the place, and made women/girls stand outside in the rain in their underwear. ICE also stole phones, laptops, and cash savings from the family, who moved to OKC two weeks ago. kfor.com/news/local/w...

Dear god let this man cook.

Everyone watching Pierre Poilievre eat absolute shit in Carleton and respecting Canada's bilingual culture.

This is what courage looks like. Kudos to the team at 60 Minutes.

“1 in 31 children will be diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder by age 8.” That’s not an epidemic, it’s a data point that RFK Jr. and others have twisted into a movement of misinformation.

Trump’s DOJ ordered ICE agents to conduct home raids without a warrant, in clear violation of the 4th Amendment. And three American children were just unlawfully deported, including one with cancer. Where is the outrage from the so-called “party of freedom”?

People are NOT understanding what empty cargo ships from China means. It means no work for dock workers. No work for truck drivers, no work for retailers, fewer dollars circulating. The cascade effect is just mind boggling.

that single sentence is going to drive me insane

Trump's incompetence is everywhere.  His regime can’t keep military secrets. It can’t maintain financial stability. It can’t protect children from measles. While we resist Trump’s authoritarianism, we also need to highlight his utter inability to govern America.

Oligarchy (noun): A government of and by a few at the top, who exercise power for their own benefit. Their power and wealth increase as they make laws that favor themselves, manipulate financial markets, and create monopolies that put more wealth into their pockets.

If you needed any further proof that the arrest of Judge Dugan was a propaganda opportunity and a fear tactic, here you go. Nothing about this is normal—it’s authoritarianism!

Wearing a bright blue suit, texting, and then sleeping at Pope Francis’s funeral. What an embarrassing mess.

This is what a rigged economy looks like: In the 1970s, CEOs made 27 times more than the average worker. In the 1980s, CEOs made 48 times more than the average worker. This decade, CEOs are making 354 times more than the average worker. That has got to change.

Tonight (and for the next 2-3 weeks) hundreds of millions of birds are going to be streaming overhead in the eastern half of North America. They evolved to rely on star/moon light, our overnight lights can disorient them and lead to their deaths. Get your overnight lights out, eastern US!

"wow i can't believe people complained about the switch 2 price and then folded and preordered anyway" have you perhaps considered that you're thinking of posts from different people with different opinions

Gov. DeWine just signed SB1, a law ending “DEI” in Ohio public higher ed. Now that it’s law, U of Toledo just killed the following BA programs: • Africana Studies • Asian Studies • Disability Studies • Middle East Studies • Philosophy • Religious Studies • Women's/Gender Studies And… • Spanish

If only there were a lesson in there for him about due process…

When historians reflect on this regime, cruelty will be the word most often used to define it.

Last night was the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn the Minutemen of approaching British troops. I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III. Remind you of anyone?

Hey Google nice job getting it exactly backwards. I went looking to see if Voltaire directly responded to Rousseau's 1756 letter about the Lisbon Earthquake, and Google kindly served me a pristine hallucination that swaps Voltaire and Rousseau's places. I hate it here. -B

This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

one thing that Democratic politicians should take note of is that the overlap between “great political optics” and “actual morally good stuff” is really big right now
