I have permanent moderate hearing loss in my right ear but our insurance doesn’t cover hearing aids. My left ear is perfect and compensates well, so that 3k expense hasn’t been a priority. My husband got me the new AirPods Pro that have hearing assistance and they’re amazing! Thanks, Apple.
