My mum has been moved into a nursing home so the past couple of weekends I've been going through her stuff. Found a drawer of memorabilia of how much a Stan my mum is of me and my brother. One item really shows how much the C in my name has been fighting for it's life since the moment I was born.

Van was honking of burning after a big drive. Checked the wheels, one was red hot. Brake caliper stuck. Can't drive it to garage so had to buy a service kit for it, take it off the van, and rebuild the caliper using new seals. Testing it tomorrow. If this is my last post I fucked up.

Been kind of humble about it all my life but now it's time to tell the world - I'm amazing at measuring things by eye. Length, weight, can cut things perfectly in half first go. Last night I guessed the length of the TV remote within 1mm. Outrageous. Girlfriend has to concede it's a real skill.
