All table numbers were prime numbers. Some people could not comprehend why we were sitting at table 2 (some bc they thought 1 is also prime and some bc they genuinely believe it’s exciting to sit at table 1 at your own wedding which is absolutely foreign to me bc 2 is objectively a better number)

Bluesky is “screen reader accessible” the way a staircase with curb cuts on each step is a “wheelchair ramp.” No keyboard nav. No useful landmarks. No focus memory. I lose my place every time I interact with a post. Compliance ≠ usability. Day 2 asking @support.bsky.team to fix this #A11yFail

Sooner or later that $1 trillion gap in the economy is going to show. That’s a LOT of business not being done anymore. A LOT of dollars just disappearing from the economy. Add a billion here from NSF after all the grants being cut, a billion there from NIH, NOAA, USGS, etc. etc. etc.

Student AI use case I am intrigued by: Student fed practice exam into Chat GPT to get extra practice questions. Personally I would not do it. But I don’t know if I think this is bad for students (beyond the danger that the questions will be trash and waste time but I feel that’s meh). Thoughts?
