Happy I've made so much progress on this lately. (Not even kidding, beating Bravely Default put me into RPG overdrive mode for a bit.) Though I still wouldn't expect this game to be done this year lol

support indie projects

The opening cutscene is coming along nicely, though I don't think I'll be giving you a peek. Can't give everything away!

Last post for today. I thought of a method for naming the elemental spells that, if I can be a bit full of myself for a sec, I think is pretty damn cool. If you're able to tell what I did here, you're cool too.

Happy Early birthday to the best Final Fantasy and one of the greatest games of all time.

I really feel like I cooked with the capstone light ability. Animations are pretty much done. Now to think of actual names for all of them, then moving on to world construction! #Indiedev #RPG #IndieRPG

Most skill animations are almost done...I can't wait to move on to the next phase. Even once I finish this batch of animations I know I'll have more to make for special enemies later on, but for now, I'm nearly done with animations.

This isn't even related to Crystal Camellia but I'm having a blast with Rift of the Necrodancer. Indie games are amazing.

Here's a peek at the music of Crystal Camellia! With a quick snippet of the normal battle theme, boss theme, and a cutscene theme. Composer: Ittsu ©Gotcha Gotcha Games Inc.

80% of my free time has gone towards working on the game lately. I know I should take a break so I don't burn myself out but I'm too motivated right now. Not a bad problem to have, all things considered!

When casting a spell you'll be shown a series of buttons on a wheel. Once you press the first button, it'll spin. The closer you get to pressing those buttons on time, the more damage you can deal. #Indiedev #indieRPG #JRPG

I got a lot done in the animation department today. I'd say animations for all of the attacks are basically 90% complete. (It only took me almost a year)

RPG Critters.

If I had to guesstimate, I'd say the game is like... 10% done Animations are taking a long time, mostly due to procrastination, I'll be real. But I'm finally almost done with those. Once I am, I'll drawing up the world map and some starting areas as well as making the enemies to inhabit those areas

First look at the battle screen. Heavily inspired by Final Fantasy I-III. The currently active party member is evident by whoever has stepped forward, as well as if their portrait is raised or not. #JRPG #Indiedev #Indiegame #IndieRPG #RPG

Howdy, I'm developing a retro-rpg heavily inspired by games like JRPG masterpieces Final Fantasy III, Bravely Default, and Sea of Stars. If you're interested, give me a follow. I'll be updating as often as I can.

This poor little wooden man is my test dummy. He never stood a chance.
