1. Cory Booker did not vote to confirm Charlie Kushner. Cory Booker voted to invoke cloture (advance) his nomination. Also he did it because he’s been friends with Ivanka and Jared Kushner for over a decade. The Kushners are New Jersey based and have supported his campaigns in the past.

Yup. So much so that his sisters call him “Sir,” which is a title in Scientology that only Sea Org Members get (regardless of gender). It shocked Sea Org members when they were told to call him “Sir.” It goes against Scientology law to have a civilian Scientologist rank on same level as Sea Org
