I planed to buy a gcompsw sometime this year to expand beyond what I have in my gscartsw, but I just couldn’t pass this up. It’s way too cool.

I think that a lot of people just view ray tracing as something that hurts performance for very little visual gain. It’s hard to blame the average gamer since rasterized lighting has done a good job up to this point and people are accustomed to looking past the flaws.

The FAQ says that transcoding modules are in development, so that’s good. I have a gscartsw and have been planning to go your exact route with chaining the gcompsw with a comp2rgb. I’m unsure what my best option will be once those transcoding modules are out.

Man this looks so cool, but I’m not sure it’s the best option for me. Can this do dual output? I currently output my consoles to a pvm and retrotink through a gscartsw. I’ve been considering chaining a gcompsw with a comp2rgb to expand.
